For Peter Andre’s 2015 chart topping album Come Fly With Me, Lester transcribed the big band arrangements for 7 songs including I’ve Got You Under My Skin, Fly Me To The Moon and Mac The Knife. He also created arrangements for Mysterious Swing, reinventing Peter Andre’s 20 year old hit Mysterious Girl.
The 2015 Oscar Nominated best original song Lost Stars included string arrangements by Lester. The song is featured in the American comedy-drama Begin Again, notably in different arrangements sung by Keira Knightley and Adam Levine.
Lester has also collaborated on notable hits including The Overtones’ platinum selling debut album Good Ol’ Fashioned Love, Si Cranston’s debut single Caught in the Moonlight shortlisted on the Radio 2 playlist, and the single Given Up Giving Up for Lilygreen & Maguire.
For the long established Horrid Henry brand, he wrote and produced songs for Horrid Henry’s Most Horrible Album released on EMI.
He produced and arranged Andy Mayo’s 2014 album Lavish released on Turquoise Tracks. Remixes of tracks such as the Soul Rebels’ hit 504 and Roisin Murphy’s Momma’s Place have won several prizes on Indaba Music
