Lester has scored over 1,200 children’s television programmes, including all four series (250 episodes) of Horrid Henry, CITV’s most successful title. The series has been broadcast extensively on ITV, worldwide television, Netflix and other streaming platforms, and has also appeared on film, stage and CD featuring Lester’s music and songs.

Writing to picture and defining characters as iconic as Horrid Henry (ITV), Claude (Disney Channel), Mama Mirabelle(BBC/National Geographic/PBS), Paz (USA) and Urmel (Germany) has earned Lester a BAFTA and four Emmy nominations, among many other awards.
He has also written theme tunes and songs for numerous series, including Fun with Claude, Me Too!, Mama Mirabelle’s Home Movies and Footy Pups. Released in 2015 and presented by England and Arsenal footballer Rachel Yankey, Footy Pups became one of the most watched programmes on CBeebies.
